Seat every guest without the spreadsheet.
Viesi is the guest list, seating plan and door check-in for company celebrations, club galas and award evenings. Import your list, drag guests onto tables, print the cards, open the doors.
- Made in Riga

- Check-in works offline
The night before, it is always the same spreadsheet
Three versions of the guest list, a floor plan in a slide deck, table numbers in someone's head, and a welcome desk that cannot find Mr Kalniņš. Viesi puts the list, the plan and the door in one place, so the last change at 17:40 reaches every table card and every tablet.
Everything between the guest list and the last table card
- 01
A guest list in order by this afternoon
Import the Excel you already have. Viesi maps the columns, merges duplicates and shows who is still missing an answer, a meal or a seat.
- 02
Seating you can see
Drag guests onto tables on a real floor plan. Couples stay together, two people who should not meet stay apart, and the assistant proposes the rest for you to approve.
- 03
Guests find their own table
A QR code at the door opens a page that says “Table 14, seat 3” with a map. For club evenings, members can register, choose a table with their club and pay online.
- 04
Check-in that survives the venue Wi-Fi
Several tablets, one live count of arrivals, QR tickets and an offline queue. Temporary staff learn it in a minute.
Three steps from a list to an open door
- 1
Bring the guests
Upload a CSV or XLSX, or share a registration link and let people sign themselves up.
- 2
Place the tables
Start from a template for your venue, drag tables where they stand, then drag guests onto them.
- 3
Run the evening
Print table cards and seating lists, send the table lookup QR, and check guests in from any tablet.
Built for these evenings
- 80 to 300 guests
Company celebration
Departments at their own tables, board at the front, dietary needs on the catering sheet.
- 120 to 250 guests
Club awards gala
Members register online, sit with their club, and pay for their own ticket.
- 200 to 500 guests
Conference dinner
Imported from the ticketing export, seated by company, checked in at four doors at once.
- 40 to 120 guests
Anniversary or wedding
A small plan with every relative where they belong, and a lookup page the grandparents can use.
Viesi is in early access with its first organisers in Riga. Testimonials will appear here once they have run their evenings, not before.
Questions organisers ask
What does it cost?
Nothing during early access. Paid plans priced per event will follow, and every early organiser will hear about them before anything changes.
What size of event is it for?
Viesi is tuned for one evening with 40 to about 500 seated guests: company celebrations, galas, award ceremonies, conference dinners. Larger events work too, but that is not where we started.
Do guests need to install anything?
No. Guests get a link or a QR code and everything opens in the phone browser: the registration page, the ticket and the table lookup.
Can I import my existing guest list?
Yes. Upload CSV or XLSX, match the columns once, and Viesi flags duplicates and rows with missing names before anything is saved.
Can guests choose their own table?
Yes, if you switch the event to guest choice. Guests see which tables already have people from their club or company, a table is held for ten minutes while they pay, and you can still move anyone afterwards.
Does check-in work if the venue has no internet?
Yes. The check-in tablet keeps the guest list and QR tickets locally, queues arrivals while offline and syncs when the connection returns.
Is it available in Latvian?
Latvian is the default, English is one click away, and each event chooses the language its guests see on emails and public pages.
Where is guest data stored?
In the European Union, under GDPR. You own the data, can export it at any time and can delete an event with all its guests when it is over.
Can my colleagues and door staff help?
Yes. Invite teammates with roles, and give temporary staff a check-in link that opens only the door screen and expires after the event.
Your next evening, without the spreadsheet
Create the event now, import the list when you have it, and seat people when the answers come in. Nothing has to be finished today.
